The Lynnfield Firefighters Relief Association is a fraternal organization set up under the laws of the MA Division of Insurance for the benefit of the members of the Lynnfield Fire Department. Incorporated in August of 1966, the Association has served the fire department for over 50 years with the primary objective to provide a death benefit for its members. Today the association provides it’s members with a $ 1500.00 death benefit, over $ 25,000.00 in on the job death benefits and a disability benefit in the event of an on the job injury.Currently the association has over 40 active and retired members who enjoy many social events including co sponsoring the annual MAFAA Fire Apparatus parade show & firematic flea market.
