The Lynnfield Firefighters Relief Association
is a fraternal organization set up under the laws of the MA Division of Insurance for the benefit of the members of the Lynnfield Fire Department. Incorporated in August of 1966, the Association has served the fire department for over 40 years. The primary objective was to provide a death benefit for its members.Today the association provides it's members with a $ 1500.00 death benefit, over $ 25,000.00 in on the job death benefits and a disability benefit in the event of an on the job injury.Currently the association has over 40 active and retired members who enjoy many social events including co sponsoring the annual MAFAA Fire Apparatus parade show & firematic flea market.

It is with deep regrets that The Lynnfield Firefighters Relief Association announce the passing of retired Firefighter Arthur Kilroy on March 28th 2013 at 1:15AM. Arthur was at the Kaplan Hospice Family Center in Danvers. He was surrounded by his wife Carol and son Sean at the time of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all during this time of loss. Arthur served the LFD and the Town of Lynnfield for over 20 years.
The arrangements for Retired Firefighter Arthur Kilroy are as follows:
The visiting hours will be Thursday April 4 from 4-8 pm at the MacDonald Funeral Home Yale ave Wakefield.
A memorial service will be held on Friday April 5 at Saint Maria Goretti church at 10am.
